Access to Hahei and Hot water beaches, 12 mins drive from the lodge. Whitianga township - 2-3 mins via the small quaint 'pedestrian only' ferryboat. With continuous crossings taking 2-4 mins to reach the other side it is much easier to enjoy both sides of Mercury Bay. No long drives and plenty of restaurant choices make Ferry Landing Lodge the perfect location for your Coromandel holiday.   We recommend a minimum of 2 - 3 nights and will often decline 1 night requests because we believe you are better to leave Coromandel out of your itinerary altogether if you cannot spare at least 2 nights.

-    use of our double kayak launched from the property. As you explore the picturesque inner harbour you may be lucky to see Orcas like these folks did on 30 Nov 2009.
-    mountain bikes, easy to ride and Whitianga is 'flat' so discovering the township, museum and local Coromandel artists is   easy.
-    anything you need for a day at the beach, including beach towels, beach umbrellas, spades for Hot water beach, boogie boards, reef shoes, childrens toys, fishing lines etc.
-     use of our guest PC to check your emails

-    Ferry Landing is also a WiFi Hot Spot so access to wireless is also available through www.zenbu.co.nz

If we accept your inquiry, you will receive a 2nd email requesting your CC details. This is to secure the dates and YOUR CARD IS NOT DEBITED AT THIS TIME. During the busy high season we may require a deposit. Approximately 6 weeks prior to your stay, a payment request email will be sent from within our 'Global Availability' System.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
-CASH
Your account can be settled in cash on arrival. There are 'money machines' in Whitianga and 2 banks. NO EFTPOS facilities at the lodge.
-CREDIT CARD
5% is added to your account to recover the cost of the transaction. We are only able to accept Visa or Master Cards using a manual system.
