We are the only bed and breakfast accommodation at Ferry Landing. We can be found down a quiet secluded lane away (no traffic noise) surrounded by native bush and bird song. A truly unique convenient location to explore all of the Coromandel Peninsula. The passenger ferryboat to Whitianga provides a quick, convenient way of reaching restaurants etc in Whitianga and its just a 2 min walk from the lodge. No designated driver on this occasion! Leave the car safely parked at the lodge while you enjoy the evenings and during the day, you can explore by kayak, bike or on foot.
"Being in Ferry Landing was great, as you have access to Whitianga for meals etc, whilst being close to Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach etc for days out."

Yes, that is the water at the end of the drive. We are that close to the beach.
So close to the water's edge!

"The ferryboat is quaint and quick, an adventure all its own and in no time at all we were in Whitianga. We stopped at The Fireplace restaurant which had been recommended by Lonely Planet and we had seen from the Lodge. Nice ambience, great food; what more could we ask for ..... and no worries about drinking and driving! Just a relaxed stroll to the waiting ferryboat and in a couple of minutes we were meandering along the waterfront in the moonlight, watching fish jumping in the water! Close to Cathedral Cove Walk and Hot Water Beach AND a hop, skip and a jump to Whitianga village. What a location! " Bill and Pauline Henry, CA. USA
